Zoom Account Migration

BRHS migrated to a school-wide Zoom account beginning on Oct 5, 2020. Please refer to the information below regarding migrating your existing Zoom account to the BRHS account.

Students will be required to login to Zoom meetings with their BRHS Google Account. The first time you log in, you will be prompted to consolidate your existing Zoom account into the BRHS account.

While you can skip this step for a time, you may be blocked from joining your class Zoom sessions and will not be excused from any content presented or work assigned.

Directions to Migrate/Consolidate your account

 

  • Log into Zoom using the “Sign in with Google” option when logging into the Zoom client (desktop or mobile) or the zoom.us website.

 

  • If you are not already signed into Zoom, you will see a prompt that “This meeting requires authentication” - click Sign In

     

  • If you haven’t yet consolidated your account, you will see a notice to “Join Brother Rice High School’s Zoom Account” - click View Detail

     

  • You will be presented with the option to “Consolidate into Account” or “Update Email Address”. Select Consolidate into Account to join your account to the BRHS Zoom account. Skipping this step may cause you to be blocked from your class Zoom session.
