Accessing your VitalSource text on the iPad
Student teacher

1. Ensure the following settings are correct (Settings > Safari):

   1. Disable “Block All Cookies”

   2. Disable “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking”

2. Navigate to https://schoology.brrice.edu, login with BRHS Google Account if prompted

3. Navigate to your course, click the VitalSource eBook link

4. If prompted to sign into VitalSource, click “Sign in with Google” - be patient as your account is linked

5. Your eBook is now visible!!

Use the VitalSource Bookshelf app to download your texts
STUDENT TEACHER

1. Open the Self Service app on your BRHS iPad

2. Find “Bookshelf” by searching or from the “eBooks” category

3. Install the app - be patient as the app is installed

4. Open the Bookshelf all once, but don’t login or navigate

5. Open Safari, navigate to https://schoology.brrice.edu

6. Open a course which uses a VitalSource eText and click the link to open the text

7. From the Vitalsource reader top-menu, click “Open App”

8. Click Allow/Open on the pop-up message

9. Your Vitalsource Bookshelf app is now logged into your BRHS account

10. (Optional) Click to download all your titles so you can access them without an Internet connection

Adding VitalSource eBook links to Schoology courses
teacher

1. Navigate to https://schoology.brrice.edu, using a web browser on your computer, open a course/section

2. Click “Add Material” the “Import from Resources”

3. Click “Group” from the left-menu then click “Faculty”

4. Open the “Vitalsource” folder then open the “eBook links” folder

5. Scan the list for your title/edition

6. Click the “Gear” then “Copy to Course” and select one or more courses

7. Once completed, open the eBook link to accept your complementary student edition into your account
