Notifications
The CrisisGo app features two levels of notifications that can be enabled:
...
Standard notifications - like any other device, this allows the app to pop-up messages even while it isn’t being used.
Critical/Emergency notifications - these notifications produce a similar experience to an Amber Alert. Your phone will pop-up a message and produce an audible alert tone even if your device has other alerts silenced (or on vibrate).
On iPhone, settings for these kind of alerts are located at Settings > Notifications > Government Alerts (very bottom).
On Android, settings for these kind of alerts are located at Settings > Search for: “Emergency alerts”.
